As far as supermarkets go, Sprouts is easy to get excited about. There is a good selection of healthy, organic items that are hard to find in a regular grocery store. Great selection of nuts and dried fruit allow one to also buy as much as they want or as little.
Now, here is the rough part. There are way too many expired items in Sprouts. This location is not the only one guilty of it, but is part of the problem with sprouts as a chain. It's something that would be rare to encounter at a competitor store like Whole Foods or even Trader Joe's. I've bought baby carrots that we're looking fine from outside, then rotten once trying them. The cakes were spoiled. The smoked salmon was. Many lettuces are. Avocados. Protein shakes. The list goes on and on, and that's just the spoiled things I've seen or bought by accident at this location. That, is just unacceptable.
Otherwise, this location is kept clean, register lines are short and if they fixed the spoilage issue, this sprouts would be a model for other locations.
