My cardiologist ordered a test that must be performed in a hospital. Sunrise is where they sent me. Prior to the test I did my pre-admission information via phone. On the day of the appointment I arrived about 30 minutes before I was supposed to. I also realized that I forgot the doctor's orders. They were prompt and polite. They were able to get me registered and get the needed paperwork from the doctor's office. I was then directed to the surgical waiting room. I checked in with the desk there and was called back in about 15 minutes. Each member of the staff made sure to introduce themselves by name. Several times prior to the procedure I was checked on by the patient advocate in addition to the nurses. I was actually able to get my test started a little bit ahead of time. The nurses and doctors were wonderful. They did their best to calm my fears. The test was successful and then I was on my way. They also provide you with a passcode so friends/relatives can check on you while you're there (if you chose to give them the number). It was convenient because my ride was able to time picking me up perfectly.
