  • This is by far THE worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. Absolute worst. It served as the host hotel for my convention, so I decided to stay solely based on convenience and access. Awful idea. Registration is an absolute nightmare. Ridiculous. The lines are so long and don't move quickly at all. My non-smoking room was smoky and not fresh. I immediately called to request a change and was informed they were sold out. A housekeeper came to "deodorize", which consisted of spraying a chemical on the floor. It didn't help. The hotel is also very old and needs major renovations. My furniture was outdated and ripped in a few places. The very random two way window in the bathroom shower with a view of the bedroom is a bit creepy. The first morning there was no hot water. Ugh. Very tepid water that never got hot in the shower. When I finally shifted rooms, it was an improvement, but still a mediocre experience. The room smelled much better and I could breathe, but the furniture and bathroom left much to be desired. The room itself was very spacious. When trying to charge something to my room, I was told that my room charges were revoked. What? Why? So of course I was sent to the super long registration line. The guest services rep said she didn't know what happened but it should be fine now because she fixed it. Very inconvenient. I did have dinner at the Guy Fieri restaurant. It wasn't bad and they were pretty quick. Finally, the shuttle. Another nightmare. There is no organization, especially on the return trip from Harrahs. Guests are pushing and shoving. Very chaotic. Many of my colleagues and fellow convention attendees expressed their displeasure of the hotel. It is safe to say that I will not return or recommend others. It is bottom of the barrel and there are so many other competitors that do a better job.
