| - This is a nice theater. It does not have electric recliner chairs that other theaters possess, which in my opinion should be the way movies are seen. What it does have are very comfortable chairs that move a little back-and-forth, yet again, no reclining and no support. The theater is clean. It does have an Xd option movie screen which is not an IMAX but not far from it either.
Concessions, in my opinion, leave a lot to be desired. Half the time, there isn't someone there to help in a timely fashion. The other half of the time the concessions that they have are not ready and so you need to wait for them to be prepared. By the time you get someone to help you and then get the preparation, it takes too long. It is OK if you simply want a chocolate bar, but it's not OK if you're looking for pizza or nachos, etc. You literally need to get to the theater a good 20 to 30 minutes before the movie starts in order for concessions to be potentially worth it. Being that concessions are a big deal for movie theaters, because they do not allow you to bring your own food in, this place gets only three stars and they seriously need to start to improve the poor quality of service at the concession stand.
Otherwise, it's located on the second floor of the Southpoint hotel. If you are staying at the hotel, it is not even two minutes from your hotel room. It is clean.
Therefore, if you want to make it a four or five star experience, and if you either want pizza or nachos or something warmed up, even popcorn, you need to show up to the theater at least 20 minutes before the movie.
