| - I don't normally write reviews, but I felt the need to today. This morning, I attended the Fenty makeup class before the store opened. The class and the coaches were PHENOMENAL!!!! They were all so informative, Alex is my girl who helped me out so props to her, Maria was a fantastic teacher, and Abby was asking all the right questions to kind of get us out of our shells.
So, why the 3 stars? During the class, it was mentioned that if you spend a certain amount or more, you can have a super extreme facial done with a machine (I can't remember the correct name of it-sorry). After the class, my friend helped me pick out some much needed skin care and when I went to checkout, I spent the needed amount in order to get the facial. I was excited to say the least.
I went over and asked one of the reps and she said that there is only one machine and there is an appointment, but you can come in later. "So, can she schedule an appointment for another day"?, my friend asked. No, it has to be today and the only time we have available is around 1pm. I had plans and couldn't make it to that time. Sorry, you can try back later, or spend the allotted amount again in the future.
Sephora- I don't have a ton of money to spend on face products, and when I do it's a big deal for me. If someone is going to spend a certain amount in order to get a service from you, then why not just have the person show you the receipt as proof that the amount was spent in store, and schedule an appointment for another day? My friend spends a lot of time at the store, knows many of the reps, had been to every single class, and has even helped upsell products to other customers in store. She was even put off by how the situation went down.
Thank you for the classes Sephora, thank you to all of the coaches for taking the time to teach me things. Not sure if I will be back though
