  • This is a great Whole Foods in Suburban Arizona that has much of the selection I enjoy in the Bay Area - superfoods aisle, LaCroix Curate, Raw Rev bars, plus some local Phoenix area hipster brands like some company that makes a date bar. They even had more flavors of Halo Top Ice Cream than the SF ones I go to have... okay, I broke down bought just one pint of Oatmeal Raisin for my long weekend. The hot bar food is not bad and even includes vegan options like Brussel Sprouts with Fakin Bacon, Soyrizo, and tempeh. The Beyond Meat burger is served at the grill. The cookie-by-the-pound bar has alfajores just like I enjoy in SF but from a local Arizona bakery. I went on a weekend afternoon and didn't experience any long lines or crowdedness. I was able to find what I wanted and cashier was pleasant enough.
