  • My boyfriend and I are escape room enthusiasts and we are, sadly, running out of rooms around the valley to do. So we were very excited to see that a new escape room opened in town. We're always hesitant with new places because you never know what the quality of the rooms will be like but we couldn't wait to try it out. From our first contact with one of the owners, Kate, all the way till we said our goodbyes, we had such a great experience. The customer service was fantastic and they (Kate & hubby (sorry, I don't remember his name)) were very friendly and also very accommodating, which we greatly appreciated. They made an excellent first impression and they were very welcoming and personable. It was just my boyfriend and me that did the room and it was a lot of fun. There were some challenging puzzles and others that we were able to get through fairly easy. It was a good balance. One thing we really liked was that the puzzles were all theme-related. We've done rooms that have puzzles that don't have anything to do with the theme so it takes away from it truly being an immersive experience. This is not the case with Pawn Shop. We escaped the room with just a little bit of time to spare so it is possible to do with just two people. Afterwards, we spent some more time chatting with Kate and hubby. You can tell they are really interested in connecting with their customers and also welcome feedback. It's always nice to find a good escape room with good people running it. We will definitely be back to try their other rooms when they open. Thanks for everything!
