  • I wish there were another convenience stop close to my house. I was on my cell phone when I took my coffee and breakfast bar to the counter. Same items every day - total is always $5.21. If you've ever been to this 7-Eleven then you'll know how obnoxious their daily sales competition is. Every day, I'm hounded to purchase their donut, cookie, brownie - whatever their goal item of the day is, and every day to say no. Today, while preoccupied with my phone conversation, the Indian lady starts ringing up a bunch of crap (daily deals) that I have never bought in the past and have no intention of buying now. She looks at me and say, "oh no! They are free! I give them to you!. Um, no. 1) I don't want them, even if they're free. 2) they're not free when my total just increased from $5.21 to $7.81. Starbucks it is for now on for my daily caffeine fix, even if the lines there are a bit difficult in the morning.
