  • I too really want to love this place. I was so excited to have another option in Sun Prairie. The decor is very classy and the biggest thing is clean. My daughter and I had appointments first thing on a Saturday. We arrived a couple of minutes early and were not the first customers to arrive. We waited until after 9:30 and got out to wait by the door with a man who was standing there. After a few minutes he made a phone call and told us they would be there soon. He was an employee and called a coworker. Not a good start..... That gent ended up being my nail tech for the pedicure. He is either very new at it or just plain bad. I even sent a text to my daughter, who was sitting next to me about what a poor job he was doing. I had to ask to have my toenails trimmed more. He did a couple shorter, but barely. They were crooked and uneven and I gave up. Foot massage was uninspired and awkward. We were discussing what I wanted from the manicure. The most disappointing thing was how poorly the pedi held up. Within a week, toes started chipping and within 10 days, most of the polish was off, some falling off in large pieces. I don't get a lot of pedis and usually the polish remains on my nails until I remove it, except for the new growth. Not this one. Sadly I was on a two week vacation. Same vacation every year, just a different pedi....this was the worst I've had, by far. For the manicure I wanted to try the dip, for the first time, and the fellow doing the pedicure tried to steer me toward shellac. Another text saying I bet he doesn't do dip. Sure enough I decided on dip and got a different tech, thank goodness. Manicure was done by a woman who was super cute and stylish. She was friendly and I got a lot of compliments on the nails. My only complaint was the back edge by the cuticle was sharp and as my nails grew it caught on stuff. It did however last about two weeks before the dip lifted and fell off my nails. I am posting here because their Facebook page only shows their five star reviews and I wanted to provide photos. I may try again based on the cleanliness and atmosphere , but definitely will not have the same tech for a pedi. My daughters nails and toes held up much better than mine.
