| - I have yet to find a location in Vegas that I feel good about when it comes to tanning and it's quite alarming considering this city is all about looks and keeping up appearances for jobs. In California I had an unlimited membership that was truly unlimited and they were transparent that things like teeth whitening kits weren't included. I had access to their best beds, facials, body wraps, teeth whitening, red light therapy, and even a tanning bed that would scan your skin to tell you how long to be in the bed. Flash forward to my experience here: I come in and the machines are dated and the customer service is terrible. Because of this, i ended up trying a few other places further away from where I lived but I had similar experiences (low quality equipment, not a lot of services to offer, and bad customer service). Having to pick one, I opted for a membership here which is supposed to be $40 a month of unlimited red light therapy, spray and teeth whitening. A few weeks in everything seemed okay, not great but not terrible. However, when I decided to come in one day to ask about going from medium spray to dark (the medium is light if you compare it to any other spray booth or location) and the lady tried talking me out of it "with your skin tone you'll be darker than me" so I didn't. Next time I came in I decided to give it a try and so I did. It's still pretty light, and frankly wore off way sooner than expected. Fast forward to today.... I come in and ask to do red light and dark Venetian for Norvelle. I was told that although I wasn't charged last time, they would have to charge me $5 for doing dark instead of medium. What?! How are you going to randomly decide to charge for something that was never communicated to me? This is the ultimate bait and switch "you don't need dark" then I sub up for a membership and want to try dark, I try it and there's no mention of a fee and next time I come in I'm told it'll be an additional $5 every time? That's an extra $20 a month. I don't get how these places stay in business. I'll be canceling my membership as soon as I can but they got a nice sign up fee out of me.
Beware!
However, there aren't any other alternatives anywhere near here.
