| - HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
I recently had to deal with fraud charges on my account. When quickly discovered I called credit one's customer service. As usual, they apologized and stated they would look into it. I also had issues with fraud payments, it's a long story. Anyways, they did not give me temporary credit back onto my card, even though it was placed on hold as per my request. They then proceeded to tell me that i needed to call the company or visit the store where the charges were purchased. I was immediately upset with that because I had already stated and VERIFIED MULTIPLE TIMES that I had not made these charges on my account. I was placed on hold multiple times for over 5 minutes for each hold. The fight continued to report that I did not make those charges. The charges were at companies that I go to in my neighborhood. They stated since I have bought from those companies before it could have been the store who did these charges. I once again explained that i should not be calling the company because I did not make the charges. I asked to speak to a supervisor who then further proceed to tell me that I did not need to call the company but that I needed to personally write a letter to send to their office (credit one bank) to state I did not make the charges on the dates I was already trying to dispute over the phone. They also requested that I needed a bank letter to state I was not the authorized user of the unknown payment to my account. This was all on a Friday. I called back the following Wednesday, to find out more information and was then told that they would not send me a new card, even though my current card was on hold, until they received the letter from me that I did not make those charges. Mind you, I had already re confirmed AGAIN I was not the one who made the charges. The letter was sent. I had called again asking what they needed from my bank to find out that my credit card account was on the verge of being closed, without my authorization because there were returned payments (payments which I did not make that had gotten returned). Of course I was furious on top of dealing with fraud charges, which now had been over a week and i was not given temporary credit back to the card, to now have to deal with the possibility of my account being closed. We are now almost 3 weeks since the initial fraud charges, which are still on my account and now I am unable to view my card online if I log in. I finally called again, and it's the same crap. I even brought up issues as to there's regulations to give temporary credit 24-48 hours within the initial fraud charges reported. They said they have their own standards of dealing with this. I requested to speak to ANOTHER supervisor. Finally she was able to help. She stated I no longer had to mail a letter or get another letter from my bank. She stated a new card would finally be issued (after 3 weeks).
Now we are leading up to yesterday, a Sunday, where they reported that my card had still not been sent, was going to be sent the next day. The best part is, they said it would take 7-10 business days to get temporary credit onto my account! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! ALSO, they stated it would take up to 90 days to investigate for me to possible actually get credited.
Final point....DO NOT GET ANY CARDS FROM THEM!!!! I am beyond furious and done with these people.
