This hotel exemplifies the qualities of Canada, which is revisiting past trends and fashions, like the 80's. The elevators are delightfully tacky. The parking garage terrified me the first time driving down to park my car, it's a very cramped parking garage. I didn't think the rooms were small as other reviewers did, but I agree facing the apartments across the street does make the hotel lack privacy. But I also do not mind showing off what I have to pervy peeping toms or tomettes. The hot tub in the pool area is ridiculously hot, like scalding. The pool on the other hand is cool and refreshing. I found the hot tub more tolerable after being in the pool, as opposed to before the pool. The snack machines serve their purpose. Except juice is a dollar more than soda. I also did not have an ice machine on my floor and had to go to the floor above or below mine which was rather annoying. But I would stay here again the price and location are excellent.
