Second City was known for its famous improv that started in Chicago and this Vegas show was barely improv. I would also recommend skipping this unless you can get free tix or pay half price tix (at most) like we did.
Like CF said, the show is like a series of rehearsed SNL skits - many really bad or just ok and a few very funny. I wanted to laugh but the whole show I may have truly laughed 3 times but never hard. I think the performers were pretty good and did a good job with the bad skits overall. They did ask the audience probably 5 times for a couple of words here and there and did a good job with incorporating the audience words for a minute here and there, but that was it! What kind of improv is this? Such a disappoinment.
Regular tix are about $50, tix at the discounted places go for around $20+ tax. No drinks included. Continuous show for about 1 hr 15 min.
Bottom line: Funny people still can't fix bad skits and false improv advertising. Recommend skipping and saving your money for the tables. Haven't tried the Improv show at Harrah's and don't know how it compares.
