| - This place is sort of a victim of its own popularity. It's hard to find a seat, and when you do, you're pretty well packed in. Sometimes, like this morning, it might take 40 minutes to get your food. So, why the five star review?
Here's the thing: I don't care about the wait or the cramped quarters, because the food is so good. Every time we go, my wife and I comment that we've just had the best breakfast of our lives, and then, the next time we go, we say the same thing.
The Grand Prix is my favorite: a coffee crepe covered with a smoky maple syrup sauce. Laced with thick cubes of bacon and perfectly caramelized pork belly. It's also topped with an over-easy egg - great for anyone who can't decide between sweet and savory. Then there's my wife's favorite: the pick-me-up - a coffee crepe with Nutella and chocolate dusting. The duck Cuban is no slouch either.
My kids love it, my vegetarian wife loves it, and the rapacious carnivore in me loves it. We always leave happy and full, even if it took us a long time to get there.
