  • I am sad to report this place did not live up to most of the other reviews. Who are these other people with such high reviews of this owner? I really expected to love this place and I did not...BUT, the results I got are decent so I am torn. I wish there were different categories for the stars you give a business, but overall, one star. I have no affiliation with this person or her studio. This is just how things went for me... First, I emailed from Yelp for an appointment -- no response. A day or so later, I call and someone (Diane?) takes my appointment, but tells me she has no idea about any pre-appointment advice and that I need to talk to Tialuttrelle for that. Weird that this place has someone answering the phones that has no idea about the lash lift process, but ok. I did like that they email you an appointment reminder though. The day of the appointment I had trouble finding the place because it has no signage and is in the back of this confusing business complex. I thought maybe they had just moved in (no, they've been there for years I later found out). Anyway, I walked in about 3 minutes late. Not ideal, but still within an "acceptable" time. No prep/paperwork just a few preliminary questions so I don't think my 3 minutes affected the situation much. I was seemingly the only client there. The inside of the place is cute and nicely decorated. However, the person at the front desk could not have been less friendly or less interested or more rude. This person did not smile at me once and was talking into her computer looking down the whole time. She was difficult to hear speak and her tone was not happy about the fact that I couldn't hear her. She was acting put out that I was even there. It was THE strangest experience I've ever had as a customer anywhere (and I've been in Vegas - service industry central - for almost my whole life) -- very odd to say the least. Fast forward to a few minutes later when she is showing me to the treatment "room". This rude person introduces herself as Tialuttrell - the owner of the place and does a half shake of my hand. I was shocked because at this point I realize that it is the person the reviews have gone out of their way to say is warm and personable?!? Maybe she is having a severely off day? I don't know. Anyway, she apologizes to me that they don't have a table and tells me to put my stuff on the dirty floor. She then directs me to get on her treatment table. I notice that the table is covered in a dirty white sheet/blanket and even though I am cringing and telling myself at this point that I should leave, I stay. I keep trying to talk to Tialuttrelle hoping things will improve and since this is my first ever lash appointment I was curious about several things I had read about the process...but, she is increasingly rude and irritated. I am asking her about something I read on Yelp about HER services. She is confused and says she can't answer my questions and says I should go investigate her more if I am going to ask more. She says she doesn't read Yelp and doesn't know what I'm talking about anyway. I ask her about the lash lift process and she acts annoyed and is apprehensive to give any information at all and is answering with as few words as possible. At this point I don't know what to do but she is starting the process so I go with it. I ask her how long it should take and how often I can expect to have to repeat the process and she says "you can do whatever you want". Uh, ok. She says she has cheerleader clients and professional clients who "sweat a lot" and come often. Others do not. Super "helpful". I ask her about any tint effect that I can expect of the lashes and she says "I can take out the tint, is that what you are saying you want?" - no. I was simply curious as I've never done this before. At one point my eyes are slightly fluttering because I am feeling pain in one of my eyes. She gets mad and throws her materials down and says that she's going to have to take a break because my eyes are fluttering too much. WHAT?! Throughout the process I can't say anything other than the fact that she is not kind in any way. During the 30 minute "processing" time, she does, however, proceed to talk to someone just outside the treatment room. She's loudly talking & complaining & laughing about someone's potato salad recipe, some random Christmas cookie convo, etc. It was all very annoying. It was also such a negative environment that I will never recommend to any friend, etc. that they try this place out. WHICH, is weird because she did indeed "lift" my eyelashes. It's only been a few days so I have no idea how these will hold up or if I will do it again. I do know I won't be back to THIS place. So, in sum, if you don't mind being treated poorly then give this place a try. I paid slightly over $100 (incl. tip) for my service (I'm from Vegas so I did slightly tip even though she was lame).
