  • I don't know what happened since the first time we had tried Hiro Sushi. We were in the neighborhood and stopped by for a quick lunch. EJ was not there to our dismay. The waitress that was serving use had a very abrupt manner. We were entertained to try the "Lunch Special": Miso Soup, Salad, 3 Handrolls (spicy salmon, salmon skin, spicy tuna) we also added an order of Uni Sushi. I asked the waitress if the sushi chef could make the Handrolls extra spicy and was immediately cut off to say "no already pre-made. We should have known to cancel the order and go ala carte. The rolls were just not good, tasted fishy, was a total turn off. To top it off for some reason waitress also crossed out our Uni order as we waited and waited. Maybe it was a bad day, but it will be a while before we go there again.
