  • This was our first dinner in Montreal and it was great! It has a very bistro-like atmosphere and reminded us of La Coupole in Paris or Balthazar in NYC. There were lots of locals, rather than tourists, there. I had steak frites, which was really good, and my husband had fish and chips. The wait staff was good and spoke both French and English. It wasn't particularly cheap but we didn't expect it to be. I certainly would have gone back if we'd had another night during our too-brief vacation.
