This is my favorite escape game business in Arizona so far. My friends and I have probably been to 5 escape game businesses and done about 20 rooms or so meaning that I have a lot to compare this business to. My boyfriend and I did the Case File X room last night and I can honestly say that it was so challenging yet so fun. It was the perfect combination of basic lock and puzzles with high-tech features. Looking back, the clues in the room really flowed and made sense while still having that challenging brain-teaser, think outside the box element. I hate when rooms have clues that are a real stretch but this room didn't have any of those. I also dislike rooms/businesses where the game master gives that clues that make no sense or the game master doesn't pay attention and gives you clues to steps you have already completed. Our game master at Eludesions was awesome because she was knowledgeable and knew just how to cater her clues to our level of experience. In other words, she didn't give too much away to make the game too easy for us but she was able to help when we were clearly struggling. I also like the way the building is set up. The lobby/waiting area is huge with a lot of seating facing a big screen that plays a slideshow of game tips and descriptions of the rooms. I don't want to give anything away but when you walk back to get to your room, the hallway you walk down is so cool. I also loved that when you take your picture at the end, it's taken using one of those portable photo booth machines and it puts a green screen backdrop behind you. They don't automatically post your pictures on social media here which I really appreciate and you can text or email the picture to yourself immediately after you take it. We will definitely be back again with our friends to try the other rooms!
