| - Knowing that take out and reservations are amazing, but it gets old eating this way. Checking the fridge there is no fresh anything. Time for grocery shopping. Off to Vons!
Vons is my go to store for deli and bakery items. The olive bar that they have inside the store is amazing . They have little containers that you can put your choices in. The different varieties of olives they have are pre-made, but I use them for various dishes. Plus the olives are great just by themselves too!
The deli selection of meat and cheese are my favorite among the different grocery chains. The meats are fresh and delicious. The cheese varieties they stock are the best. The different kinds of bread and styles of sandwiches are always fresh and in stock. They sell and usually have in stock rye and sour dough bread that I frequently seek, that other stores do not sell.
The selection of pastries and cake slices is extensive here. All of their cakes and pastries are made in-house and taste excellent. It is making my taste buds run wild now, because I brought home a cheese cake; that probably needs eating right now! I love that if you do not trust yourself or if one doesn't need the whole cake; they sell individual slices. They have so many tasty varieties!
The twins eat out of the microwave, but here at Vons their brand of frozen items such as rolled tacos, lasagna, or frozen pizza is very high quality. Sometimes I prefer vegan or vegetarian items, the selection here is extensive. So when I come home from a long day; I know the food I'm nuking is at least healthy. Sort of!
Vons has realized that their customers are special and to reward us for shopping here they have lowered their prices. Not on everything, but the specials they run will save us some money. If you download their app you can save even more. I have not done this, but the cashier told me about it.
The customer service at this Vons is stellar. The cashiers are very pleasant. They handle all of the groceries with care when they are bagging everything. They offer both paper and plastic if one prefers a choice. I bring my own bags, they do not offer discounts for bringing your own bags; but they should.
Was an awesome shopping experience, as always. I love Vons and their brand. They pass on quality in their products they sell onto the customer. Plus the customer service is exceptional too!
