  • I have always hated Marc's. After visiting this store, I realize that I always hated the NORTH OLMSTED Marc's. Ah... now I understand. This store is usually clean, aisles clear, staff fairly friendly, shelves packed. Even the customers are well mannered. (See me above reference to the dreaded and awful NORTH OLMSTED hole.) I love the discount bins. I can spend an hour poring over those stupid shelves. So much fun, entertaining, and yes... useful stuff! A tip: ALWAYS hit those shelves first. I needed shelf liner (you know the kind, that weird rubbery kind that's nubbly), and the discount rack had them 3/$1.00. The same size rolls on the regular shelves... $1.00 EACH. I totally understand how those discount shelves work, and I can understand the price difference. I just never knew that happened - but now I know. :) I'm now converted to the Marc's cult (er...way of thinking). I like this store a lot.
