  • Tsujiri is a new dessert place/Cafe on the Dundas W strip that's focused on green tea/matcha offerings. It's a chain from Japan and this is their first Canadian location. Location: right beside Kyoto House on Dundas St W, a few blocks west of Bay St. Seating: there's a few two person tables and a small tatami mat at the back. There's not much space here so it's not a good study spot. Food/Drinks: there's a lot of different hot and cold drink offerings. I tried the Tsujiri Blended Ice Milk and the Matcha. The blended Ice milk tea had the right amount of green tea potency; it wasn't too empowering but was stronger than most places. The matcha was also pretty good too although keep in mind that in keeping with how matcha is usually served, it's a smaller cup. I didn't try the dessert this time but the soft cream and shaved ice looked pretty good. The mochi looked good too. Cost: it's pretty pricy. It was about $6 and change for the blended ice milk and $4 and change for the matcha. Overall - if you like green tea flavoured foods and beverages, you'll be happy with the offerings here. It's a bit pricy though.
