I remember going to this cinema when it first opened - how nothing has changed.
came on opening night to see dead pool and was ready for the crazy line up to get into the theatre.
I went to the concession stand to get a poutine and a tea and waiting until one of the staff members behind the counter realized I was waiting (they were playing with their phones).
someone from the back came out front to hand another guest their poutine and told the people to look up as there was a line.
So, full disclosure: I haven't been to the movies in a while.
I walk up to order my poutine and green tea and the girl goes "you need to get into the line at the end and order your tea separately." as I proceeded to ask why she said "that's just the rules I can't sell you tea." annoyed I paid for my
poutine and waiting at the opposite end to be ready. I asked the same person from the back why my tea had to be ordered separately and all I got was "I don't know."
so after all that I walk to to end and realized its a Starbucks which is why I had to order separately - perhaps training their employees to understand the reason as to why it's different would the irritation I felt when I got a short sharp answer.
so onto the theatre now:
after people cutting the line, to get into the theatre, I find my friends, sit down to find the last persons cup still in the holder and a bag of popcorn under my seat.. annoying experience! the staff should get trained better.
