  • Avoid this place at all costs. It's in a corner in the PATH, so is difficult to locate (for tourists, who I suspect would be a large part of the market for rental cars). I normally wouldn't ding them for this, but I was in a hurry, and was trying to call them to ask for directions, and they didn't pick up the phone!! Very frustrating, since again I was in a rush. On top of that, they did try to charge us a higher rate than what we had initially booked online. Finally, we returned the car the same day (after hours) by parking the car in the garage, and leaving the keys in the drop off box. And they charged us a LATE fee of $16!!! I just found out when I saw the charge in my credit card statement, which was higher than my invoice. Ridiculous. We called Avis and they agreed to refund the money. So note... check your credit card statement carefully!! One final comment... I did ask the attendant about where to return the car. It would've been nice if he could have mentioned that the streets leading to the drop off place are all blocked (from the west direction)... something that the navigation obviously doesn't know about. Would've saved me a lot of time since I had to basically turn back and look for a detour in very heavy traffic.
