| - Not a fan of having to put any money into my car for repairs, EVER. But the time had come to change the battery on my car and because this is the closest auto parts store (and recommended by my dad since he has a body shop, he deals with O'Reilly's back home) Anyways, I've come in here a few times to get a few things here and there and have NEVER been a fan of this place, customer service is always AWFUL and the guys behind the counter love to chit chat with each other, no matter who is waiting in line. Very unprofessional, if you ask me.
Anywho, asked for a quote for a battery, wanted to call my dad just to make sure that was a good deal (seriously, I turn to my dad and ask him anything to do with my car, why not take 60 seconds to see if I was getting a good deal on a battery?) I stepped out of line, I wasn't even in line anymore but the 1st man that was helping me seemed very annoyed that I needed to make a phone call just to make sure, sorry dude. Got the ok from my dad, got back in line to then be helped by some other guy. And this 2nd guy was even worse! He was giving me an even higher price and then seemed annoyed because I was telling him that wasn't the first price I got. I was literally away from the counter for 3.5 minutes and it just seemed more and more like i was just causing this huge hassle. Anyways, they gave me the 1st price they originally quoted me and then the jerk that rung me up was then standing there complaining about how he didn't want to put the battery in my car. Trust me dude, if I knew how to change the battery on my car, I would've done it myself and avoided dealing with you jerks at all costs but that's not the case. So as I stand there, he's telling the 1st dude how much he doesn't want to deal with changing a battery and I just stood there awkwardly as I waited for these guys to figure out who was going to come out and help me. Great. Not awkward at all. Sorry for putting you guys in such a difficult situation with having to do your JOB! Geez.
Anyways, moral of this review, avoid going to O'Reilly's, go to Autozone. I've never EVER had a problem going to Autozone and they're so much more helpful and courteous.
