I called Toyota of Gastonia; they told me that it would not be covered under the "Defect" as they stated it when I called them to discuss my issue back in later part of 2016. I was not advised of the other stipulation of it could also be covered if it fell within 10 years of first use. This has been a very stressful situation. This car my very first purchase and I had planned to keep this car to pass down to my child. This has made my perception of Toyota to be very disheartening and I will not ever purchase from this company again. I was told incorrect information and now I am not able to afford get this problem fixed and I can not afford to get another vehicle. I am hiring an attorney to file a civil case suit against Toyota.
Very disappointed
