  • Been coming to this Menchie's ever since the one at Port Union (and all the other Menchie's all over the city) closed down. It's alright; I think Menchie's has given up on Toronto and decided to never give us new flavours because I see the same ones here each time, but I don't mind too much because I like the green apple sorbet and the wild cherry flavours. Service is mediocre - they're never too cheery and always just say enough to get the job done, but don't really seem to care beyond that. Which is fine with me if you come in with a friend, but it gets a little awkward if you're in there by yourself tasting flavours in silence. Another thing is that Menchie's is still a little pricey; a good sized cup used to be around $5, now it's around $7 or $8. Oh, well. tl;dr: If you're ever desperately craving frozen yogurt, I guess this spot will get it done. But don't expect anything more.
