If you find golf to be a bit slow and boring and are looking for more of a "Happy Gilmore" kind of experience, then look no further than the Waste Management Open in Scottsdale, AZ. It's the rowdiest golf tournament on planet earth complete with: overserved fans, occasional streakers and people watching galore.
2018 was the 7th time I've attended this specific tournament and it lived up to the hype yet again. It was the first time I've gone in with general admission tickets and it wasn't a bad experience at all. The food/drink lines weren't terrible and we were able to find a nice table on the 17th green to watch the shenanigans ensue.
I was particularly impressed with the level of security this year given everything that's been going on in our country so, we all felt safer than expected.
Check this event out if you're in the mood to get rowdy and watch some of the best play the game. It's a winning combo :)
