Went on a one day staycation and really liked the place. Customer service was good on arrival, departure and in restaurant, room was a king room. Nice size, fridge with two bottles of water (complimentary), towels soft and bed was comfortable...big window. Wi-fi was complimentary. Modern furnishings, phones and clock. Ate at the Ahnala Restaurant. Food a little pricey but very good. Had seared Salmon with rice pilaf and vegetables ($22). Fort. McDowell Casino in on the premises in another building....smoking is allowed inside...there is a very small section in the back where no smoking is allowed, but you have to walk completely through the casino to find it. It has two pools...I know one is heated. They have outside comfortable seating throughout the resort. The resort is not close to a commercial area so perfect place if you just want to relax and rest.
