I read comics as a child but like most others I lost interest in the 90's but when I decided to get back into reading comics I just happened across Steve "the Riddler" Riddle at Velvet Underground. He was great, he didn't make me feel like an idiot or was on the outside of the "comic book cool kids club", he asked what I was into and recommended some series I would like and really kept me from wasting money on "collectable comics" that would screw me in the long run but at the same time he let me know what would be good books to get into, he was the guy that years ago told me to buy at least 3 copies of a brand new book coming out called the Walking Dead. Also Steve is really great with my two boys when they come in, Steve will give them prizes, free comics and a lot of time and patience because my older boy is really hyper. This place is great!
