| - Bob's Autodynamics prides themselves on their integrity, honesty, quality of work, and their willingness to stand behind their work. This car repair shop may or may not live up to their above mentioned personal-descriptions. However, to me they have not displayed to me their willingness to stand behind their work, a pretty big factor in my book.
I received an alignment there for my truck 3 months ago, I was referred to the shop by a friend, and they appeared to be a trustworthy, straightforward repair shop. I was told if I had any problems with my trucks alignment within the next year, they would re-do it with no questions asked, even if it was my fault (granted I did not modify my car). I noticed yesterday that the alignment on my truck was no longer true, so I called Bob's to make an appointment and I talked to Cheryl.
Cheryl was not very pleasant. She told me the misalignment was probably my fault and I would have to pay for a new alignment. As far as the warranty that I was promised, it doesn't cover customer fault, unlike I was told prior. If I were to bring my truck in, they would charge me for a new alignment or charge me $50 just to look at it. I probably would not be upset about this information if Cheryl had showed a little tact while talking to me, instead of treating me like an idiot.
In conclusion, Bob's Autodynamics has one of the most expensive alignment prices in town, and they do not seem to stand behind their work, or keep promises for that matter. If you were referred here by a friend, it is because your friend was bribed. Seriously, they bribe people $20 to refer their friends, it is posted all over their office. While waiting for my car 3 other people came in for an alignment job, all were referred there by Discount Tire Company, obviously kick-backs were given out for each one of those jobs. Bribes do not go hand in hand with a reputable repair shop.
