  • The hotel is actually nice and clean, BUT their management really needs some improvement. Once entered the hotel, the lady at the front desk yelled all over the hotel lobby asking what my name was, as soon as we set foot through the glass door, not waiting for us to actually approach the check-in desk. You don't yell at guests first off; you first greet your guests and welcome them, and then you proceed once they are actually face to face with you and not 50 yards away. Secondly have you guys heard anything about privacy and that people shouldn't be yelling out their names back to you all over the hotel lobby??? This, was the first turn off already and we were only there for 5 seconds maybe. And then they basically tell you that you don't get what you book, even if you have booked way in advance, and confirmed your booking over the phone, they DO NOT CARE. We arrived just this past Saturday at 2:30 am to check in our 2 queen-bed room and I had purposefully booked for 4 adults, because my kids are like adult size now, but little did I know that they are going to squeeze the 4 of us in a small room with only one king-bed. This was a horrible experience after a 6 hour drive, you just do not expect this at 2:30 am exhausted from the trip. Finally they managed to literally squeeze all of us in the one-bed-room, with 2 roll aways; they had to stack furniture on top of each other to squeeze the roll aways in. One mattress was wrapped in a plastic bag, and with every turn my son made, we all woke up and he wasn't even provided a pillow at least. Dear Hilton Garden Inn, this is not how you treat your guests, just serving them off with 4 cheap breakfast coupons and a sloppy "we are sorry" note. I have been in many hotels internationally, but this experience was the WORST! I traveled with my family to Phoenix for a very special event, my graduation ceremony and your hotel ruined our experience right at the beginning of our arrival. Shame on you!!! Just a friendly advise, book here at your own risk and expect to be negatively surprised. The 2 stars are only given because the hotel was actually clean! The free wifi was horribly slow!
