Good spot for gas as it's the first gas station over the border in SC. The price is usually anywhere from $0.20-$0.40 cheaper than NC. Depends on if there's been a hurricane or something recently really.
It's a bit of a dump. It adjoins lots with an ABC store and the huge flea market that I'm also less than impressed with. The lot in general is fairly "bombed out". Watch for potholes and mounds of gravel when pulling in here. And since there's no median to speak of, watch for cars turning in and out from just about anywhere. Traffic in front also gets bad.
The pumps are old and I avoid the place because I'm pretty sure it's a skimmer's paradise. Inside the store is shoddy and old. They have "beer on tap" according to their sign. A hodge-podge of sodas, candy-bars and everything else that looks in varying levels of age. "Produce" is a misnomer.
If you can handle the extra 2-5 minute drive, pass Miller's and turn left at the light. All the way down this road at the next light you'll find a QT that's in SC. World's above this place in every possible way.
