  • My husband and I really enjoy the Academy Tavern and I'd be happy to tell you why: - Vintage Vibes: the gorgeous, Art Deco, wooden bar knocks my socks off! Ever time I walk in the door I'm gobsmacked by it; it's a place out of time. It would appear that nothing has been changed since opening day! - Best Casual Burgers in Town: A great, solid, classic burger. Beat's the B-Spot, easily. They serve a limited menu and everything is simple, homemade, and straight-forward. Delicious. - Absence of Attitude: The Academy is just a great, old school bar with no pretense and a great draft beer selection. The beautiful patio is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Give it a whirl!
