  • This review is for the newly designed cafe and bar in the Broadview Hotel. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the cafe and bar. There is a victorian and chic feel to the atmosphere and design. I was there to catch up with a friend over coffee and drinks. This was the perfect place for a catch up. The coffee and drinks were standard. They were not bad. They were not good. They were standard. In fact, I would say if you want a good coffee, you would be better served going to an actual coffee shop. If you want a good drink, you would be better served going to an actual bar. The pastries were quite good, but again, nothing you would not get at any other coffee shop. They were also slightly overpriced. The service was a little slow. I am giving this place 3 stars because of the atmosphere and design. The design is inviting and it facilitates great conversations.
