rev:text	Completely and utterly disappointing. 4 star hotel? No way. I travel and love boutique style hotels. Online this place looked amazing. The reviews sounded good and I even called to make sure they had an exercise/fitness room. (That's important to me.) Driving up, I got a little concerned. It's in an older area of Phoenix. That's okay. I actually love older feeling neighborhoods, so I looked past it and went inside. A man at the desk didn't look up, but a nice girl helped me and was very outgoing. She told me that they were undergoing construction on the pool, but no one mentioned this when I called the day before? Got up to my room and it had a funny smell. The decor was cute, but obviously a very old hotel with decor to make it look better than it really is. The smell, some sort of oil warmer gave me an instant headache. I decided to get dressed and head to the gym. I've been traveling and working all day, so just wanted a workout and some food. The fitness center shouldn't even be called that. There's a treadmill that doesn't work and it smelled so bad in there. Looks like is hasn't been cleaned in months. I ended up finding an LA Fitness instead. I could go on and on, but this place is terrible. I checked out. The walkways to the rooms are dark and really kind of creepy. I could also hear the men in the room next to me as I was packing up to go. Thin walls, crappy gym, rude front desk (except for the sweet girl who tried to help me) and a room smell that made me physically nauseous. Don't stay here. Pay to stay at any of the hundred nearby hotels. How does this place get 4-5 stars? They must be rating the hotel for the restaurant. That's the ONLY good part.
