  • Check your bank account of you stay here!!! I'll explain that then go into the pros and cons of the rooms and hotel. We paid in advance through a website. Upon check in she asked for a card, I already knew there was a "resort fee". She took my card and ran it and gave it back, no receipt or anything. So I asked what is being charged to it? She said "50.40", and that was it. Ok whatever. Upon getting home after the trip I noticed a charge of 100.40. I called and they said you have to call back between 7-2:30pm, next day I call that extension and it gave me the voicemail again. Finally someone at the front desk answers after two days of trying, I asked what was charged she said it was for the upgrade (I'll go into that later) I said I was told we weren't going to be charged for that. She puts me on hold for a good five minutes then says 50 was a deposit and will be returned and the 50.40 was the resort fee. Ok. My issue is shouldn't you know right away what your charging me for and I was mainly pissed that the lady at the front desk didn't just explain that from the get go when I asked so I'm not in the dark about charges, or give a damn receipt that breaks down what the charges are and what's refundable. Not a hard concept. Anyways we get there way past check in, and our room was given away. Really? How can you give something away that was already paid for? Good thing was a free upgrade to a suite. Bad thing we had to move rooms the next morning. ***The Suite*** Pros: -Large room -Keurig coffee maker -Mini bar area (no alcohol provided) -Mini-fridge -Really pretty decorative mirrors -Big independent closet -Good working TV -Large desk Cons: -One bed -Roll away bed extremely uncomfortable, like sleeping on springs covered in a sheet. -View was of the parking structure -No balcony -Dirty carpet --------------------------------------------------- ***The Regular Room*** Pros: -Two beds Cons: -Extremely dark room, even with all the lights on -TV kept losing signal and hardly worked -No closet just a bar screwed into the wall in the bathroom -No mini-fridge -Dirty carpet -Very small room --------------------------------------------------- ***Casino*** -Lots of places to get food -McDonalds and Subway open all night -A decent amount of slot machines most were penny slots -The perfume-ish smell in the casino I actually liked -Casino didn't seem to wreak of cigarette smoke Overall the stay wasn't bad, the worst part was the customer service. If I had to stay here again I'd rather have a suite, but I don't think I'd want to pay for it, being that you can stay at nicer places for the same price.
