The rooms are clean and I appreciate that they are eco-friendly. However.
I have stayed here twice in the past six months but I think that's it for me.
There was a double charge on my card and it was a complete fiasco to figure out. I had to go down to the desk twice. The first woman was very dismissive. The second time, a man was immediately very defensive and yelled at me! He eventually calmed down after I put him in his place and explained that I was not blaming him or the hotel, but I needed to find out where the second charge was coming from, being that at this point I was put out neatly $800 unexpected dollars. Initially they told me that the bank needed to fix it, but after about 40 minutes they claimed they were able to issue me a refund. (A refund that I'm not entirely sure even exists) However, throughout this entire fiasco, I watched this same man yell at another customer over my shoulder!
I am from Buffalo and travel to Canada frequently and this was the most ridiculous hotel experience I have ever had. The customer service was sub-par and left me very disheartened. Straight answered are far more productive for all parties involved.
