| - I love Kaner's. And I disagree with the comments that the customer service isn't good, but I've been coming for a while and they know me by name. I'm nice to them, they're nice to me. I've spent enough time here to see that a lot of the clientele is demanding, obnoxious and condescending and they deal with that all day long, so who can blame them for being brusque at times?
Over the years I have brought in all kinds of high-end shoes, and every time they have surpassed my expectations. Recently, my friend's dog chewed up a heel on a pair of booties in an unusual leather colour. They ordered in the right leather, and re-wrapped both heels perfectly, making my shoes as good as new...for $50. I did not experience bad customer service at all as they told me it would take several weeks to do it and have the right leather come in, and when it was ready they called me to let me know.
They are experts at putting thin rubber soles on the bottoms of leather shoes that you can't tell are there, but the process of doing so saves your shoes. I've had red soles put on louboutins, black put on black, neutral, etc. They even repaired one of my handbags that had a few tears in the leather. They are artists. I just took six pairs in this weekend! I will never take my shoes anywhere else.
