rev:text	I just went in for a routine cleaning after my old dentist retired. I read some good reviews and this dentist was close to my house. Lesson Learned.... DO MORE RESEARCH!!!!! At the cleaning, Dr. Kang informed me that all of my fillings were bad and needed to be replaced. I was a bit skeptical that they were all bad but after all he is the expert. After Dr. Kang replaced my fillings, they felt sore but I figured that was just bruising after the procedure. WRONG. One of them in particular got worse. I was up at Lake Havasu (4hours away) and as soon as we got on the boat, my tooth really started hurting. After a few hours, I could no longer eat or drink anything... which is bad if you are out on a boat in the hot sun all day. That night things got alot worse and the next morning I was rushed back into town for an emergency root canal. The dentist was surprised that the filling in question was replaced given that it was so close to the nerve and not bothering me. $1000 later I went back on Yelp and read several more reviews on Dr. Kang. I quote... Don't be tricked by the nice pictures of children he has in the office.. What you should notice is the expensive car he parks outside.... He got that car because he over bills his patients and their insurance and does unnecessary dental work. Dr Kang is a crook. EVERY procedure I let him do, I had to have re-done by another dentist. Lesson Learned. BEWARE of this man, read the reviews. The good ones are all paid ads. I have $1000 into my tooth and STILL have to spend more on a crown... for a filling that was fine and NOT hurting me!
