  • I used to work at a lab at Scripps in San Diego. The drop off process for specimens is horrible here. I was not told I would have to wait to be seen to make sure I did my collection correct and now I am late to school. I did it correct because someone took forever explaining it to me when they gave it to me. If you can go somewhere else, do. This is frustrating. Follow up: I was basically forced to come back to write on a piece of paper the date and time of my collection and sign a paper verifying that the information was correct. I had written my name, date of birth, and the collection time on the bottle already in sharpie before I dropped it off. What a huge waste of time. That information could have been verified over the phone. I'm sorry Sonora Quest, your policy needs to be reworked for what was supposed to be a simple specimen drop-off.
