rev:text	I am the daughter of Kay J. who posted a review on 1/9/2018 and received an evil, cruel and heartless response from the owner Nectaly Mendoza. While yelp is a platform that we all can learn from, Nectaly uses it to speak in the poorest of manners to the people who have given Herbs & Rye one star on yelp. No human should ever speak to anyone in the way that Nectaly has to my mom! It is a mind blowing that there is an article about how he was recognized as Bartender of the Year?!?! My mom took me here on my birthday, she wanted to treat me to a nice steak dinner. Being a person who has dined at some of the top steak house, this place is in the middle. The reason my mom initially complained was out server questioned us sending our over cooked steaks back!!! Seriously, I'm pretty confident I know the difference between medium rare and medium well. It was an insulting moment with our sever. It's not the service of why I'm giving this place one star (I would have gone back), if I could give it zero I would - I'm giving it a one star review to the owner and how he chooses to respond to his clientele.
