| - Wow, bad service.
Okay first, I love the stuff they sell here. I buy nearly all my bags and bike gear from this place, their quality is fantastic. That said, the service I got today was really awful.
I bought a winter coat online, since they didn't have my size in the store. I had to exchange it, since it was too big and called customer service and arranged to have the new size sent here, so I could pick up and return at the same time. Customer service on the phone is EXCELLENT. She all but offered to fly in from BC and hand deliver it to me.
I was told that it would be there in a couple of days, since it'd just be coming in from Barrie. No probs. A week and a bit later, I called the store to see if it was there. The guy said "You need to wait for your notification." really impatiently, he didn't even offer to check to see if it had arrived. I called customer service again and they said that it was there, and apologized for my not getting any notification.
I went down today to get it, and the guy behind the counter was incredibly snarky to me. He was really impatient when I told him that I never got notification and basically snapped that I needed to wait for it, before I could mention that I followed up and the service centre said it was there. He looked at my receipt and I said "Oh, they said that they'd refund it back through my credit card." to which he said "I know. I work here." The rest of the exchange went pretty much like this, with the guy being a real jerk, but I got my coat, and it fits great.
I'm thinking that it's very unlikely I'll visit the store again, I'll probably stick to ordering stuff online, now that I know my size. I'm not sure what happened in the last few years, but the service here used to be really great.
