  • After another local mechanic simply couldn't "work me into their schedule", I decided to take my Mercedes into Back to Basic for some much needed attention. As expected, both motor mounts and the transmission mounts had failed. Dropped the car off at about 9am, got a call back around 1pm to let me know of my options: either using factory parts or aftermarket parts and the pros/cons of both. I went with the aftermarket parts which saved a bundle AND accelerated the repair timeframe to allow same day completion. Car was completed faster than expected and it drives like a new car. Amazing service, amazing mechanics and amazing people. From henceforth, I will only come to Back to Basic for my automobile needs.
