  • This is a pretty nice zoo. There's a wide variety of animals to see, and it'll certainly take most people hours to get through, if they're even able to finish it in one day's visit. Aside from the animals, there is a lot of entertainment for the kids in the form of playgrounds and splash pads scattered throughout. Many things, such as petting the stingrays (free at the Litchfield Zoo) and the animatronic dinosaur exhibit (although leagues better than the Jurassic Tour exhibit I previously reviewed) are overpriced, some things are fair. Overall, I am impressed with the array of exotic animals I'd otherwise never have the chance to see up close here, and the kids seem to enjoy it just as much.
