  • My recent breakfast at Perk was OK. The food was good, but the lackluster service will make me think twice about coming back. My mom and I both enjoyed our breakfast burritos (mine with bacon and hers with ham). They were smaller than I anticipated, but tasted good, especially when topped with the side of cilantro jalapeno sauce. However, our waitress was pretty brusque - no interaction at all after taking our orders. It would have been nice if she could have managed to come by to check on us, refill our water/my mom's coffee or even make eye contact at all. The restaurant was NOT busy - less than half of the tables were occupied. I had to ask the hostess for both a water refill and our bill. When our waitress finally showed up with the check, she slapped it on the table without even breaking her stride, all while looking out the window. Hello!? No 'thank you', or 'have a nice day'. Eh... I can make my own breakfast burrito, thanks.
