In hanging out at Trinity Bellwoods Park, I noticed that there was ALWAYS a line to get into this place. The location of the shop is perfect because after everyone got their cones, they would walk over to the park & hangout. My friend & I had to try & see what all the buzz was about. We went around 9:45-10 which was an hour from closing & the line wasn't as long as it usually is. The wait wasn't too bad & when we got into the small shop the people working behind the counter were explaining the ice cream to customers & were overall very friendly. I got the charcoal cone with the ube/coconut mix-- black & purple. The ice cream was $6.50 which is more on the pricy side but I genuinely enjoyed my icecream. I definitely think it's important to support local businesses especially those owned by POC so I didn't mind spending the extra buck. The only 2 downfalls of the ice cream is 1. It melts SUPER fast & 2. be prepared to have your lips & tongue stained black.
