| - This place is a solid, yet small, resort, where every room has an AMAZING view of Fountain Hills! That's all that really matters.
But if you want to know more, I have now stayed as a guest once and I've also enjoyed a commitment ceremony and group dinner here on another occasion in the past year.
Rooms
-The rooms are quite large, have a fireplace and a small patio with 2 chairs. Due to my inability to deal with insects, we stayed inside and enjoyed the view through the patio door.
-Bed kinda sucked, in that it was too soft for my very damaged back.
-Bathroom is large and nicely appointed, except it seems as if they did a renovation to have a separate tub and shower arrangement, and so the shower is VERY weird. It looks like a closet was converted to a shower with a weird step and tiny size.
-Mini fridge with freezer kept my fancy wine chilled and my Italian dinner leftovers ready to be enjoyed the next morning, pre-hike :)
Bar/Restaurant
Great food at a high price. Happy hour at bar ends before anyone enjoying a stay-cation could ever possibly use it. So, on my recent overnight here, we dined elsewhere.
Lobby/Grounds
-Staff are friendly, and had we requested anything specific, I am certain it would have been provided quickly and with a smile.
-Due to the design of the resort, it's not the easiest to locate a specific room knowing only the room number - I wish that would be improved as I drove around a few minutes before I could locate the room.
Overall, a pretty good value for a nicely appointed room with a gorgeous view.
