| - I'd heard about Costa del Sur for years, but tended to opt for the likes of Aveda & Red Rock. Only because of a comedy show we'd gotten tickets for at the South Point did I think to make a staycation of it, book a room then spa the next morning. My other half had never had a massage nor been to a spa before... & he was terrified. That said, I LOVE that there's a co-ed area for couples (not easy to find)... I think he was secretly relieved by that too! The couples room is really quaint with a window looking out at the pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, waterfall, dark room with couches & beverages then lounge chairs in the wet area. The hot tub was more like a small pool that comfortably accommodated a few couples without being weird. To break him in slowly, I booked us both the reflexology massage & the blueberry bliss facial. Unless there are specific back & shoulder areas you want targeted, this is the way to go (& I've had my fair share of deep tissue, hot stone & Swedish massages)! Having that attention given to our legs & feet was unbelievable. The blueberry bliss facial was also the best facial I've ever had... & included an equally incredible hand & arm treatment. A lover of the hot stone massage, I'll never do away with a full body massage completely, but I really think I've found my preferred spa & treatments at Costa del Sur!
