  • I had written a review previously for Burger PRE-renovation but after coming here not too long before the renovation in mid-March, I have to admit small details disappointed me on our last visit a few weeks AFTER the renovation, and would disappoint the great Mr. Ramsay himself as well. My family (fiancé, my pregnant sister & her husband, my big sister & her young daughter) and I came during the late afternoon and were told there'd be a 35 minute wait but were actually seated quickly. We noticed there was a slight change in decor and table setup, but for the most part things looked nice and new. At the table we were given the menus and ipad. IMMEDIATELY my sisters noticed that their favorite jalapeño poppers were abolished. Lol. New burgers were introduced but they kept my favorite Hell's Kitchen, and changed up the farm burger to a farmhouse, with a different cheese. Basic sides were the same. I thought I'd like to try the forest burger next. We were waiting a solid 15 minutes before our server came and asked what we would like to drink. She was busy I could tell but I felt that she was also flying through everything, NOT in a good way. As a former server I could just feel the tension from her juggling us, adding us to her pile of mounting mental madness. We ordered quickly (my sisters pushing for them poppers to no avail), and then waited a lengthy 40 minutes for our food. When our food came, presentation was not as it had been before. My fiancé had a piece of old cheese melted and stuck to his plate from either another plate or from a bad dishwashing. Our server had also forgotten one order of fries which we waited til the end of our meal for. We all needed refills for tea a few minutes into our entrees because they had not been filled after we had gotten them. Although I have had the Hell's Kitchen burger a few times previously, it wasn't the same as it used to be. I feel like in the name of profit, the restaurant has become more for tourists and not for taste. Before, whenever we got our bill I had always thought "I can't believe I'm paying so little for such a great meal and time." Now, when we got the bill I thought "This is just another typical Strip Burger joint bill for a typical Strip Burger experience". Which is sad, because it had always been a place we loved to go for a treat on the Strip every other month or so, and whenever we had friends or family in town. Needless to say, we all won't be returning. Sorry, Gordon.
