First - what I liked - the burger itself. I got their basic Wahlburger, and it tasted like something that you would have on your back porch at a good bbq party. I liked it. And yes, it was $9 - but that's what you're going to pay for a burger in downtown Toronto.
I also liked the multitude of sports screen options, and plenty of tables to sit at. The hostess was very nice and sat me promptly.
What wasn't so great - I get that it's Wahlburgers - but do we have to see a loop of everything Mark and Danny Wahlberg have done their whole lives? It plays on the screen 24/7 - and it more makes you realize this guys have been in more duds than actual hits. Don't get me wrong - I like Mark W. (was never really an NKOTB fan - nothing against Danny), but I don't need this.
I think people are going to find the prices too high, and the fad of it may wear off quickly, but I would probably eat there again in a pinch. Let's face, Gretzky's across the street isn't known for having reasonably priced fare, and that's been there forever.
